Women Empowerment
Push Foundation India aims to be recognised as an effective organisation working towards the empowerment of women and to bring together women from urban as well as rural areas to fight for their cause. We work on a variety of issues like health, nutrition, agriculture, forestry, income generation activities, seeking microcredit, and so on.
Since the overall empowerment of women is vitally dependent on economic empowerment, we are involved in the following activities:
Educating and creating awareness among women, especially rural women; Supplementing efforts of government towards women empowerment; instilling leadership qualities among women and ensuring their participation in their empowerment; Mobilizing optimal resources and plans and implementing the projects that have bearing on women’s empowerment.
Pushp Foundation India has a significant role in bringing drastic changes in the life style of women and so far have been successful in making women to become independent and self motivated. Building a sense of self-confidence so they can take their own decisions in matters concerning them by increasing the literacy level of women.
In order to make gender equality a reality, we continue our work in furthering women’s cause in all walks of life like social, educational, economic, household etc., Our volunteers work right from the grassroots level in areas like education, health, violence against women, and leadership to ensure that their overall development is looked after so they can be capable of supporting their livelihoods.
Pushp Foundation India is a place where women from all walks of life can come together, access government schemes and programs, and various other critical information that can change their lives and contribute to their livelihood.
Till now, it has been a satisfactory journey that gives us immense confidence to work harder and contribute to society at large. Unless meaningful changes are achieved on these fronts, Push Foundation India will continue to strive hard and achieve success in building a nation that believes in and supports women’s empowement.
